Unrestricted Electives (GER-PE and UE). Please familiarise with
the details about S/U
option before you exercise it.

The S/U option does NOT apply to:
• Core Courses, Major Prescribed Electives, and
GER Core courses*
• Pass/Fail courses
• Courses that count towards the requirements for
second major or minor programme requirement
• Graduate courses
• Incoming exchange and Non-graduating students

The maximum number of AU that a student can choose for S/U grading during his candidature is as follows:

The S/U option may only be exercised for a maximum of 12 AU of coursework. By NTU policy, a minimum 69 AU of letter-graded courses must be completed in order to be awarded a degree.
